Me…so far.

I got the theatre bug when a lot of kids do, performing in school plays and such. In 6th grade, I joined an after school drama club, but the adolescence of a boy in New York pushed me toward sports for quite some time. I had a great time and love sports for many reasons, but my focus came back senior year of high school where I left sports to do, you guessed it, a school play. Ever since I have studied and worked and fought and scraped to make acting a major part of my life.

I was lucky enough, through college at Villanova University, to be a part of the graduate theatre departments productions. There I not only furthered my acting chops, but learned the technical side of theatre as well, working in the set shop. Again, luck was on my side as I found a spot in the MFA program at Wayne State Univ. These three years were pivotal in my training and cemented my love for absolutely drowning in theatre. Detroit still holds a special place in my heart.

Chicago was my next (and current) step. Since 2005, I have been navigating this eclectic and ever-evolving city. From the smallest store front to the stages of Steppenwolf and the Goodman, Chicago continues to challenge and delight me. The opportunity may not be as abundant these days, I still seem to find the nooks, the crevices of storytelling that need my talents. I thank them all for giving me the chance to share my skills.

And as my bio comes to a close, do you find yourself asking, how can I work with Tony? Or how can I follow more of what he is doing? Following me on social is always great. I’m @tbozzuto. Check out the contact page or just browse some of my past work. Either way, I appreciate your time in reading about me. Have a great day!
